Asset Inspection

The importance of Good Data

NDT inspection data for visual type inspections of in-service equipment have remained the same for more than half a century.

Industry has evolved, with a greater focus on maintenance and reliability. It is time for NDT data to catch up and provide the information that is truly needed for risk management and repair management. Simply providing visual crack length is insufficient for these purposes.

That's why we developed the Crack Data System.

The Crack Data System is an upgrade to conventional inspection data. Good data enables new possibilities, and the Crack Data System provides all the necessary information for optimal asset management.

Crack Data System

NOTE: More in-depth training is recommended for NDT technicians prior to using the Crack Data System in order for them to have a full understanding of the system and how to interpret fatigue cracking correctly.

Contact WQMS to arrange this.

Application

The Crack Data System would be used by your NDT provider or Condition Monitoring Team and is readily incorporated into the existing reporting format/method.

The Crack Data System can be adopted by itself, or as part of a planned AICARM implementation.

Please contact us if you have any questions or if you are ready to move to the next level of crack repair management.
